Meeting the locals ...

I have been playing with the gorgeous Pink Paislee Hometown Summer Range, and for anyone who read my previous post .... YES I am so loving green and white at the moment!
Here is my Take 2 on this awesome colour combination!
I started off with some Snowflake cardstock and then used both sides of the Green Acres paper for my background. I sanded the edges of both the papers and then mounted the smaller piece on to some cardboard to lift it off the page.  I then added my photos (of the very cute little Quokkas) and then grabbed the PP Hometown Summer accessories.
The banner is from the Border Stickers with Glitter which has some awesome patterns in it, and so easy because they are already made for you!! you gotta love that!!
I also used the cloud, sun, ‘Summer’ circle, Beautiful Day tag and the brown journaling tag from the Punch Outs. Again a great easy way to finish your layout!
The alphas are from the awesome Echo Park For the Record Alpha Cardstock stickers, for QUOKKA, ROTTO, the date and tab stickers. The rest of the aphas are Thickers Daiquiri, which I have now discovered in Green, very nice! and a change from my usual black! Oh and some Jenni Bowlin Tiny Circle Alphas.

Now a small confession, I stuffed up on my cloud! When I decided to outline the ‘locals’ with black pen (not my brightest decision considering everything else was finished!!!!) I managed to get pen all  over my hand and consequently all over my cloud L SO I ended up having to paint it! When it was dry I embossed it with white embossing powder and then added a little blue embossing around the edges to make it look like the original punch out! And ta da!!! stuff up fixed!
Don't forget to go check out this range and all the gorgeous Bo Bunny ranges at My2Angels HERE!
Back with some Bo Bunny projects real soon!
Thanks for looking, I hope you all have a lovely Easter! with not TOO much chocolate!! Y

  3. Firstly, ha ha ha re: eating Nate's easter eggs, that is exactly what happens this end.....so not much choc in this house this year. Some leggo maybe....and well a small bit...lol.

I just love that Dacquiri comes in green, I have about 3 sets in black and have had to paint them but it is hard because of the black being so thick. Also wow, I do mistakes just like this and love what you did afterwards. And how cute are the Quokka's. Love to you and your family. Melxx
