And to reflect my new found love for Broome I came up with this LO of the beautiful sunset on the equally beautiful Cable Beach! I've gone with the less is more on this LO so as not to take away from the photo!
I have used Nightfall and Sunflower Co-ordinations cardstock and some October Afternoon papers, Seaside Sandcastle and Thrift Shop Last One. I have inked some of the edges with black ink and one others used a border punch. My photo, I cut into 1” strips (a bit scary!) and then stuck it onto the sunflower cardstock. I've used 3D mounting tape to attach the photo.
The title is a mixture of AC Thickers Emerald Flocked Hay and Daiquiri Black (one of my all time favourites) together with some Jenni Bowlin Tiny Circle Alpha in Black.
I hand stitched a mini sun around the ‘i’ of ‘Paradise’ and also stitched on some of the lattice punching.
I tied a My2Angels ‘Made with a Smile’ Charm onto the ‘d’ of ‘found’ and to finish added a My2Angels Yellow Mulberry Flower , folded in half and tucked behind my photo.
Thank you so much for looking and for any comments I really do appreciate them ... I'll be back with some more holiday scrapping real soon!! and luckily 'Summer' is one of the themes this month over at My2Angels so pop over to the blog and check out the other DT girls creations. The very talented Melinda Spinks is joining us this month as the guest DT, really love her work.
Have a great week ....
