It's boy month over at my2angels and Tracy asked me if I would do a step by step for the blog so I had a go .... not an easy task for me as I don't normally plan any of my layouts .... I have an idea and then just run with it!!
The photo is of my oldest son taken a couple of weeks ago at a local park for a footy season wind up!
I've used some new Fancy Pants papers just in at my2angels! and lots of yummy Scrapware!
I've gone for a muted colour scheme and coloured my chipboard using watercolour pencils and an Aqua Brush and resisted the urge to use gloss or crackle medium but for anyone checking out the step by step this could be done if you prefer.
Apart from colouring the chipboard this layout was really quite easy and quick to do! The chipboard scallop is Dusty Attic and the gorgeous spotty button is from Samantha at Purple Pumpkin!
How cute is that little Scrapware Chunky Chick? and as much as I love chipboard cogs (if you want proof on that one ... check out my blog header LOL!!) these Scrapware ones double up as awesome little suns don't you think?!?!?!
Love the Antique Alphas too .... waiting for Tracy to get in some more of the mini ones now that I have used these!!

Other: Dusty Attic Chipboard Scallop: Purple Pumpkin spotty button

Have a great week and thanks for looking .... be back with more soon

ReplyDeleteI saw your step by step on the my2angels blog Wendy and I think you've done a great job. I love all the chippies and the colour combo is spot on. :)
ReplyDeleteGee I wish we lived closer to each other, I would love to be a fly on your wall to see how you create the most magnificent boy's pages, I super struggle, but you never fail to use the right kind of embellishments and this title rocks. Melxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous layout - you scrap boy pages so well, I love all the details and great photo too.
